Overview
This project was a consulting project with a small nonprofit organization. As a growing business, the organization was struggling to attract, select, onboard, and retain new employees.

Objective: Conduct a needs assessment to determine issues preventing the organization from effectively hiring, training, and retaining employees.

In addition to helping the client identify and officially adopt a list of core competencies, I developed and helped implement a competency-based selection process. The revised selection process included:
Updated job descriptions to reflect the newly identified competencies
A rigorous standardized multi-step interview process that included tools to help hiring teams prepare for, conduct, and debrief competency-based interviews
A new onboarding and exit process

Outcomes
